How to add an email signature in Apple Mail

Step-by-step

   Design your signature in Wren

   In the free Wren builder, pick a Look, fill in your details, and click Copy signature. Keep the tab open — you'll come back for the logo file in a moment.

   Open Mail → Settings → Signatures

   In macOS Mail, from the menu bar: Mail → Settings… → Signatures tab. Pick the account on the left, then click + to create a new signature and give it a name.

   Uncheck 'Match my default message font'

   This is the single most-missed step. Uncheck Always match my default message font at the bottom of the Signatures panel — otherwise Mail will strip your fonts and colours on send.

   Paste the signature

   Click into the empty signature preview on the right and paste with ⌘V. Text, links and layout come through cleanly. The logo may look small or missing — that's the next step.

   Drag the logo in (the important trick)

   Right-click your logo image in the Wren builder and Save Image As… to your desktop. In the Signatures window, drag the file directly on top of the placeholder logo in the signature preview. Apple Mail attaches it as an inline image — recipients see it every time, no hotlink required.

   Set as default and mirror to iPhone

   Under Choose Signature, pick your new signature as the default for that account. On iPhone: Settings → Mail → Signature. iOS Mail can't handle rich HTML — paste the plain-text version Wren generates ("Copy plain text") so replies from your phone still sign off consistently.
