How to add a signature in Outlook mobile
Short answer
In the Outlook app, tap your profile picture, gear icon, Signature. Turn on Per Account Signature and type a short text signature for each address.
Which version do you use?
- 1
Open Settings
Tap your profile picture (top-left), then the gear icon (bottom-left) to open Settings. - 2
Tap Signature
Scroll to the Mail section and tap Signature. - 3
Turn on Per Account Signature
Toggle it on so each account has its own signature. - 4
Type your signature
Keep it plain text: name, title, phone, one link. HTML and images aren't preserved on send. - 5
Save
Tap the checkmark (top-right) or back to save.
Menu names occasionally move — look for Settings → Signature.
Why not the same signature as desktop?
The Outlook mobile app is a separate product and doesn't sync signatures with desktop Outlook. Treat mobile as a text-only endpoint. Design one free in Wren's generator for desktop, and keep the phone version short.
Company signature from Microsoft 365
If your organization uses an Exchange transport-rule signature, it's added server-side to every message including Outlook mobile. Keep the app signature blank so signatures don't stack.
Per-account is the right default
Turning on Per Account Signature lets work and personal accounts sign differently.
Change or remove it
Same path: profile picture, gear, Signature. Edit the text or clear the box.
